The Cleveland Browns revamped their offensive line with three new faces. Trading for Tytus Howard and signing Elgton Jenkins and Zion Johnson were major steps toward finally fixing their offense, but they still have plenty of work to do.

Jerry Jeudy struggled mightily as the No. 1 guy in Cleveland last season. And while some of that had to do with subpar pass protection and bad quarterback play, Jeudys' mental miscues, drops, and poor route-running didn't do much to help.

With that in mind, Mason Cameron of Pro Football Focus believes the Browns are about to address that issue. Jauan Jennings is still a free agent, and he may be just what they need to help Shedeur Sanders take a leap in year two:

"The Browns’ attention during the first phase of free agency was understandably centered on the offensive line. Now, the focus should turn to the receiver room," Cameron wrote. "Expectations are for Cleveland to explore pass-catching options with one of its two first-round draft picks, potentially landing the team Carnell Tate, Makai Lemon or Jordyn Tyson. But the room could use more established options to reinforce a receiver group that finished last in the NFL in PFF receiving grade (56.4) in 2025."

Jennings would give Todd Monken's team an established player who fell just short of 1,000 receiving yards two years ago and who had nine receiving touchdowns last season:

"Of the Browns’ current receivers, only Jerry Jeudy caught more than 25 passes and generated more than 1.0 yards per route run last season. Jennings would amplify the group as an efficient possession receiver, having generated more yards per route run (1.35) than any receiver on the roster and having hauled in more contested catches (19) than the entire receiving corps combined (18) last season," added Cameron.

The Browns didn't add another quarterback in free agency. They can still take someone in the NFL Draft, but for now, it looks like they're ready to roll with Sanders and Deshaun Watson and figure out their QB1 in training camp.

Sanders started the final seven games of the season and should be the frontrunner for the job. Clearly, having a reliable pass catcher and a clean pocket should help the team get a more accurate assessment of his play, and the Browns have enough financial flexibility to give Jennings the lucrative long-term deal he's looking for.

Jennings is the best wide receiver option in free agency right now, and even though he comes with some injury concerns and wasn't the most prominent guy in the league just three years ago, he's shown more than enough to be give the keys to ignition as the undisputed WR1 in Cleveland.
