The Buffalo Bills survived the first round of the NFL playoffs on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but they did not leave Florida unscathed.

While Josh Allen limped off the field on Sunday, he appears to be ready to go for their next game on Saturday against the top-seeded Denver Broncos.

But one of his best weapons will be out for Saturday's game, along with the rest of the season, after he suffered a brutal injury against the Jaguars.

Wide receiver Gabe Davis is done for the season following a diagnosed torn ACL from Sunday's playoff game. It was an unfortunate injury for Davis, who has done his best to provide pivotal catches and yards for a Bills wideout room that has been stretched thin this campaign.

Davis was carted off the field in the fourth quarter while trying to make an essential catch from QB Allen. He exited the game with two receptions for 14 yards.

It was a disappointing season for the former fourth-round pick out of Central Florida. After back-to-back career years in 2022 and 2023 with the Bills, he left for the Jaguars last year, where he struggled to find any consistency before getting released.

He returned to Buffalo in 2025, hoping to recapture the magic that saw him catch a combined 14 touchdowns during his two-year peak. It wasn't the same, though, as he slid down the depth chart and only caught one touchdown on the year.

Without Davis, it's going to be up to Brandin Cooks, whom the Bills acquired at the deadline from New Orleans, to step up as the No. 2 receiver alongside Khalil Shakir. It has been a committee effort from the Bills all season long behind the reigning MVP Allen, and they'll have to keep that up after losing Davis for the rest of the playoffs.

Allen and the remaining Bills attack will have their hands full on Saturday against the Broncos, who deploy one of the league's strongest defenses across the board.
