The Arizona Cardinals are placing rookie running back Jeremiyah Love on injured reserve, according to a report from NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

Love sustained a high-ankle sprain during Sunday's Week 8 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The Cardinals' No. 3 overall pick had previously been dealing with a different ankle issue.

Love will miss at least the next four games on IR, and his absence could reportedly extend to five games.
