The NFL trade deadline on Nov. 10 is quickly approaching. Already there have been multiple wide receivers to request trades or be rumored to be on the trade market.
Plenty of teams are in need of a wide receiver this season. The Kansas City Chiefs are one team interested in shopping for a wide receiver before the deadline, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported.
The Chiefs currently have three receivers on the injured reserve list—Tyquan Thornton, Jeff Caldwell and Jimmy Holiday. Thornton is the top receiver on the Chiefs (219 yards) this season through just four games he played in before suffering a fractured and dislocated left ankle.

Kansas City will be getting Rashee Rice back in Week 8 versus the Denver Broncos, though, after he's missed the last two contests with a right hamstring and knee injuries.
But, the three healthy receivers who have played all six games so far—Xavier Worthy, Cyrus Allen and Jalen Royals—haven't produced the numbers the Chiefs have been hoping for. They've combined for 303 yards and two touchdowns.

The oldest player on the offense, tight end Travis Kelce, leads the Chiefs with 24 catches for 343 yards and two touchdowns. In case this is Kelce's last dance, then trading for a good receiver could be a long-term move for the Chiefs, too.
Regardless, the 5-1 Chiefs are looking to bring in another key target for quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
And, the Chiefs have some good options out there. Indianapolis Colts receiver Josh Downs requested a trade this week, which interests Kansas City, according to Fowler. Additionally, Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is an option for someone who could be traded in the coming week-plus. The Jaguars haven't officially decided if they will trade Thomas or not yet, though. The Jaguars are reportedly looking for a nice asking price first.
There's a good chance either one of these receivers lands in Kansas City if the Chiefs decide to be aggressive ahead of the deadline.
