The Indianapolis Colts again looked lifeless on offense in their loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. However, it doesn't seem like Colts head coach Shane Steichen is eager to make a change at quarterback anytime soon.

Daniel Jones again struggled significantly in Sunday's game, throwing for just 108 passing yards and throwing the game-sealing interception that had Colts fans scratching their heads on their final offensive possession.

Sitting at 2-5 on the season with questions pertaining to whether they could be sellers at the upcoming trade deadline, many Colts fans have been passionately calling for a quarterback change for weeks now.

At this point, it does not seem like a quarterback change is in Steichen's plans, which he made quite clear in his postgame comments.

Recapping the loss to the Vikings, Steichen was asked whether he has considered a quarterback change. Steichen responded with a definitive no, confirming that he still "has a lot of faith" in Daniel Jones.

"No, I have not thought about a quarterback change," said Steichen. "I have a lot of faith in Daniel. The game plan today was to go in and run the football. Obviously, at the end, he had the interception. That happens in football."

Considering the Colts parted ways with longtime general manager Chris Ballard earlier this week, it sure seems like Steichen's job may very well be on the line as well and depend entirely on how the rest of this season goes.

Clearly, Steichen appears to be comfortable to put all of his chips on the table behind Daniel Jones. That being said, it will be interesting to see just how long he and the rest of the Colts organization continues to allow Jones to start despite his obvious struggles before ultimately making a move off of him.

Steichen and the Colts will look to turn things around when they next take the field in Week 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who sit atop the AFC South with a 4-2 record on the year.
