The Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys have long been NFC East rivals, so there’s no love lost between the two franchises.

However, talent is talent — whether it’s a player or a rising star on a coaching staff. DeJean has emerged as one of the NFL’s top young cornerbacks through his first two seasons, while Parker has quickly risen as one of the league’s ascending young coaches.

Now, Parker is set to receive his biggest opportunity yet with a Cowboys defense that has plenty of talent but ranked among the worst in the NFL last season — finishing dead last in several key statistical categories, particularly in the secondary, which owner Jerry Jones cited as the team’s biggest issue.
