Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys won an absolute thriller against the New York Giants, winning by a score of 40-37 in overtime on a field goal by Brandon Aubrey as time expired.
The Cowboys have dominated the series with the Giants as of late, and that has been especially true for Prescott during his time as the Dallas quarterback. After losing his first two starts against New York, Prescott has now won 14 consecutive games against his division rival with Sunday's win.

It was a quarterback showdown on Sunday, as Giants quarterback Russell Wilson was also incredible with 450 passing yards and three touchdowns.
Prescott put up similar numbers, as he finished with 382 yards and two touchdowns in the win. He did a great job of distributing the ball, as five Cowboys receivers had at least four catches. Ceedee Lamb led the way with nine catches for 112 yards, while tight end Jake Ferguson also had nine catches for 78 yards.

With the win, he is now 14-2 against the Giants, having thrown 4,297 yards, 31 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
It was in the fourth quarter where this game took off, as the two teams combined for 41 points in the final 15 minutes of regulation.
Trailing by three points with 52 seconds left, Prescott found wide receiver George Pickens to put the Cowboys up 34-30.
However, Wilson came back and connected with Malik Nabers on a 48-touchdown to put the Giants up 37-34 with 25 seconds remaining.
Prescott responded with an incredible quick drive of his own, as he got the Cowboys to the Giants' 47-yard line, allowing Aubrey to send the game to overtime with a 64-yard field goal at the regulation.
As good as the offenses were in the fourth quarter, neither offense could capitalize in overtime until Prescott got the Cowboys in field goal range for Aubrey.
While it was only Week 2, this was a huge game for both teams. Not only did the Giants fall to 0-2, but they are also 0-2 in a division that features the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles. Those two teams were the best two teams in the NFC last year.
It wasn't pretty, but Prescott did what he has done for nearly his entire career, and that is beat the Giants.
The Cowboys will be back in action in Week 3 when they travel to Chicago to take on a Bears team that lost 52-21 to the Detroit Lions.
