We’re used to seeing sibling-on-sibling violence on Sundays: John and Jim Harbaugh. Travis and Jason Kelce. The Watt siblings. Sydney and Chase Brown. Any and all Targaryen siblings in the “Game of Thrones” universe. So needless to say, it’s not unusual when two brothers face off against each other.
But during Sunday’s match up between the Dallas Cowboys and Indianapolis Colts, we saw it escalate into a trash-talking, show-stealing, hard-hitting, whiplash-inducing game that saw a brother-taunt-brother play where only one survived.

Throughout all four quarters of the Cowboys' 27-23 win over the struggling Colts, Indianapolis wide receiver Josh Downs was hearing it from his younger brother, Dallas safety Caleb Downs, whenever he screwed up in front of him. It was entertaining and Downs handled it in stride, but when it came to the final seconds of the game, the younger Downs – who is a rookie -- backed up his mouth with a game-stealing interception from Colts quarterback Daniel Jones to lock down the win.
The Colts were up by a field goal with 1:37 left when the Cowboys drove 65 yards in only four plays. Javonte Williams had a 1-yard touchdown, putting Dallas up with 1:08 left on the clock when the ball went back to Indy, which is where it all went wrong.
The Cowboys are now 4-5 with QB Dak Prescott going 21-of-34 for 335 yards and two touchdowns during this match up. Other notable side quests that took place were an insane CeeDee Lamb red zone fumble and the Cowboys having 14 penalties for 153 yards.
