Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry passed LaDainian Tomlinson for seventh place in NFL career rushing yards Thursday during a 33-10 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars at M&T Bank Stadium.

Henry finished with 57 yards on 17 carries, bringing his regular-season career total to 13,707 yards. He moved beyond Tomlinson’s 13,684 and Jerome Bettis’ 13,662 as the Ravens fell to 4-5.

Both moves came against Jacksonville. Henry entered the game with 13,650 yards, needing 13 to pass Bettis and 35 to move ahead of Tomlinson. He finished the night 23 yards ahead of Tomlinson.

Curtis Martin is next on the list, in sixth place with 14,101 yards. Henry needs 394 yards to tie Martin and 395 to pass him. Emmitt Smith, Walter Payton, Frank Gore, Barry Sanders and Adrian Peterson occupy the top five positions.

Henry began the season in 10th place with 13,018 yards. His 689 yards through nine games have moved him past Eric Dickerson, Bettis and Tomlinson, with Dickerson’s 13,259 the first of those totals he cleared.

Baltimore also gave Henry a larger role in its direct-snap package against Jacksonville. He lined up at quarterback for 10 direct snaps, twice his previous career high of five in 2018.

The added work did not reverse Baltimore’s offensive struggles. The Ravens lost their fourth consecutive game and have scored fewer than 14 points in each of those defeats. Henry’s longest run Thursday covered eight yards.

His climb up the career list spans 11 seasons with two teams. He gained 9,502 rushing yards during eight seasons with Tennessee, then added 4,205 in his first three seasons with Baltimore.

That Baltimore total includes 1,921 yards in 2024 and 1,595 in 2025, before this season’s 689. Henry has started all nine Ravens games this year.

Baltimore next hosts the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, Nov. 16.
