The New England Patriots may have found their newest version of Tom Brady.

Second year quarterback Drake Maye has been playing lights out this season and he made a bit of Patriots history Sunday in their 34-13 blowout win over the Tennessee Titans.

Maye went 21-for-23 in Sunday's win and according to Patriots Communications, that sent a franchise record for completion percentage in a game at 91.3%, surpassing the 88.5% completion percentage set by Brady back in 2009. A near 20-year record held by the greatest quarterback of all-time has been broken.

The stellar performance from Maye on Sunday is just another example of how great he has played this season. He is now fifth among quarterbacks in passing yards and has just two interceptions on the season. Maye has also now surpassed a 75% completion percentage in four of seven games this season. There can also be an argument made to put Maye among Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford and Dak Prescott in MVP conversations.

While it is still fairly early in his career, it is evident that Maye is clearly going to have a bright future in the NFL and it also appear that New England may have replaced the great Brady, just five short seasons after his departure from the organization.
