The Philadelphia Eagles have already made moves ahead of a long offseason that will likely see significant change within the roster.

The Eagles have agreed to future deals with linebacker Chance Campbell, defensive back Tariq Castro-Fields, wide receiver Danny Gray, defensive tackle Gabe Hall, defensive back Brandon Johnson, center Jake Majors, offensive tackle Hollin Pierce, and wide receiver Quez Watkins.

A future deal essentially serves as a training camp invitation, allowing these players to compete for a roster spot or a spot on the practice squad and build depth at multiple positions.

Johnson played in a handful of games for the Eagles, serving as a special teams player, while Gray and Hall were on the team's training camp last year.

Pierce is a monstrous player with a big physical presence who could develop into a rotational offensive line piece down the road.

These signings are set to be the start of a busy offseason. The Eagles' offense let down the defense against the San Francisco 49ers.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts went 20 for 35 on Sunday, throwing one touchdown and getting sacked only once. He only rushed five times for 14 yards as well. Running back Saquon Barkley had a solid outing as well, with 26 carries and 106 yards.

More interestingly, A.J. Brown only had three catches for 25 yards, averaging 8.3 yards per catch. Brown and head coach Nick Siranni were caught getting into an altercation on the sideline as he tried to get the receiver off the field to avoid a penalty.

There have been rumblings that Brown has been unhappy with the team's offensive play, and Sunday's incident added another chapter to that saga, but Siranni played it off.

“I was trying to get him off the field because we were about to punt and that was really it,” Sirianni said of the video.

“I love A.J. I think he knows how I feel about him. I have a special relationship with him. We’ve probably (gone) through every emotion you can possibly have together. We’ve laughed together, we’ve cried together, we’ve yelled at each other. We’re both emotional. I was trying to get him off the field, and that happens in this game. That happens in this game, but I love him.”

Brown could be traded after this season, setting off a chain of events that could lead to a new roster in Philadelphia that can put the past season behind them.
