Geno Smith is tired of his New York Jets losing ball games.

Smith, who is in his 14th year in the NFL, faced the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. The Jets kept it close in the first half as they trailed 14-12 at halftime. However, the Jets failed to score in the second half, while the Chiefs just kept scoring to win 35-12. Kansas City scored three touchdowns alone in the second half, while the Jets either punted or ended their drives on downs.

At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Jets reached Kansas City's 26-yard line and had hope to potentially score on the drive. New York went for it on fourth down, but the drive ended poorly. Smith was sacked for a loss of six yards by George Karlaftis.

As Smith walked off the field following the sack, with Arrowhead Stadium erupting in cheers, the quarterback was visibly frustrated. He angrily took off his helmet and threw it on the sideline.

It's understandable why Smith would be so frustrated. The Jets fell to 2-7 with the loss, their third in a row. It's hard to see what hope the Jets could have at this point in the season to see things turn around. And, with it being Smith's 14th year in the league, his time to play and produce wins is dwindling down. He wants to win and provide successful results for his team, but he can't seem to make anything work this season.

New YorK Jets, Geno Smith

...

Smith was sacked five times on Sunday alone, bringing his season total to 28, the second-most in the NFL this season.

The Jets don't have an easy matchup next weekend either. New York will face the 6-1 Buffalo Bills, who sit on top of the AFC East standings.

It wouldn't be a shock if Smith has some choice words to deliver to his team in the locker room on Sunday.
