John Harbaugh hopes NFL teams contact the New York Giants about potential deals before the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
The Giants head coach confirmed to reporters Monday that he left a message for Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk about Jeffery Simmons before they traded the star defensive tackle to the Chicago Bears. Harbaugh explained that he's willing to talk to anyone about trades over the next week.
"Why? Because you turn over every stone. We're gonna try everything," Harbaugh said, via SNY Giants. "I'll put it out there: We'll open for any call. Anybody who wants to call us or call anybody, call."

Harbaugh is working the phones in conjunction with Giants general manager Joe Schoen, and the coach said they're each aware of the other's conversations.
"It's transparent in our building," Harbaugh said. "We're all talking to each other. We all know what each other's doing. I know who Joe's calling. If I'm calling somebody, Joe knows who I'm calling. We're turning over every stone. We're making every call. We're getting all the information we can possibly get at all times, and we are not apologizing for that at any point in time ever. We're gonna do the most we can possibly do to try to get some things done."

Harbaugh said it will be difficult to find upgrades over the "very good players" already on New York's roster. The Giants also have just five picks in next year's draft after sending their 2027 fifth-rounder to the Minnesota Vikings for quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
The 64-year-old doesn't want Schoen to make win-now moves at any cost. Harbaugh would also prefer to see the Giants land potential long-term fits over "one-and-done" players on expiring contracts.
"It's got to be something that is a need, that fits your financial profile, that fits your price tag," Harbaugh said. "It's not like we have a bunch of draft picks, either. We're not loaded with 12 or 13 draft picks where we've got draft capital to burn. We don't, so we have to be smart shoppers that way."
