Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox named the Giants as the top potential landing spot for Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston with the trade deadline looming.

...
Johnston would be a fascinating player for a team on the rise like the Giants to bring in. This is because the former first-round pick is not only an impactful player, but he is also right in his prime at 25 years old. Thus, he could be a good long-term fit for the Giants' offense if acquired.
Johnston has appeared in five games this season with the Chargers, where he has eight receptions and 165 receiving yards. Yet, when noting that he posted eight touchdowns and over 700 receiving yards during both the 2024 and 2025 seasons, it is clear that he has the potential to heat back up. Perhaps getting a change of scenery on a team like the Giants could help him do just that.
