With the NFL Draft approaching in a couple of weeks, all eyes are on the Philadelphia Eagles and whether a trade of A.J. Brown will happen. Brown's name has been in the rumor mill this offseason, but the Eagles have yet to accept any offer for their No. 1 receiver.
Although there's been no move yet that sends Brown out of Philadelphia, ESPN NFL reporter Jeff Darlington shared the latest on the situation and noted that just because it's all quiet now, it doesn't mean it will stay that way.
"I still anticipate A.J. Brown getting moved out of Philadelphia," Darlington said on the March 19 edition of "Get Up." "Do not mistake the silence that we currently are feeling around A.J. Brown for being indifference or lack of activity.

"Eventually, after June 1, I still think this happens. The Jaylen Waddle situation only validates that further. By the way, we look toward teams that could potentially trade for A.J. Brown."

Following the trade of Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia could be looking to hold out for a similar package. The Broncos received Waddle and the Miami Dolphins' fourth-round pick (111th overall).
Meanwhile, Denver sent their first-round pick (30th) as well as third- and fourth-round picks (94th and 130th) to Miami.
As for the team that makes the most sense, Darlington believes that the New England Patriots are the ideal fit for the veteran wideout, as it gives Drake Maye a true No. 1 target for next season.

"The Patriots are the perfect fit, with his former coach in Tennessee in Mike Vrabel being there," Darlington added. "And the compensation is almost exact, guys. The Patriots hold the 31st pick overall and the 95th pick overall.
"The Broncos, getting Jalen Waddle, had to give up the 30th and 94th. So it's almost apples-to-apples in terms of trade compensation. I really think that this does feel like a very natural progression this offseason."
