It’s a game of “Will They? Or Won’t They?”

As in, will the New York Jets trade wide receiver Garrett Wilson? Or won’t they listen to everyone screaming at them to trade Garrett Wilson? It makes sense, shush.

So many rumors have been flying around about either the Jets being willing to trade Wilson, and loud professionals who are calling for Wilson to ask for a trade. But on Wednesday morning, fans noticed a little something about a picture the team posted on X.

“Sunday’s fit,” the team posted regarding the uniforms that the Jets will wear when facing off against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. The player wearing the uniform? Wide receiver Adonai Mitchell.

“Why not show Wilson?” one person on X asked. “Is there something going on in the background?”

“Interesting WR choice…” another suggested.

“Mitchell over Wilson,” someone said.

“The official Jets page using NOT Garrett Wilson to show the uniforms for Sunday,” another pointed out. “Lol, Wilson is totally getting traded.”

“He good as gone,” one person noted.

Not everyone sees it that way, though.

All the Wilson talk even brought former Jets coach and current ESPN analyst Rex Ryan into the conversation, who was hot footed as usual and said that Wilson isn’t going to just abandon a team when things get bad.

“Yeah, that tells me right there that you don’t know this young man,” Ryan said on “DiPietro & Rothenberg,” according to Heavy Sports. “This guy is not gonna run from a fight. I think just the opposite. The little time that I spent with him, I think it’s just the opposite; this dude is going to win with the New York Jets. It’s just when. He’s going to be here when his team turns; he’s going to be here.”
