The New York Jets will face the Miami Dolphins for their Week 7 matchup on Sunday afternoon.

This is a very important game for the Jets. They need to get back in the win column as they aim to climb up the AFC East standings. Thus, it would be clutch for New York to pick up a victory against the Dolphins, who are 0-5 at this point in the season.

However, as the Jets prepare for their game against the Dolphins, they have gotten some concerning news regarding star running back Breece Hall.

Breece Hall #20 of the New York Jets.

...

According to ESPN's Ian Rapoport, Hall is unlikely to play for the Jets against the Dolphins.

Hall has been sidelined with a quad strain for each of the last three games for New York. Now, with this report from Rapoport, it seems likely that he is set to miss his fourth straight game for the AFC East team.

The Jets have certainly missed Hall while he has been sidelined. This is because he is a very important part of their offense and a major difference-maker. Thus, it is certainly less than ideal for the Jets that he is not expected to play in Week 7.

Hall has appeared in three games this season with the Jets, where he has recorded one touchdown, 51 rushes, and 163 rushing yards. This is after he had four touchdowns, 243 rushes, and 1,065 rushing yards in 16 games last season for New York.
