New York Jets coach Aaron Glenn made a big move in the Week 7 13-6 loss to the Carolina Panthers. After the team struggled on offense, he decided to pull Justin Fields at the half and went with Tyrod Taylor in the final two quarters.
The offense has been a struggle all season long for the Jets, and he was looking for any spark that he can possibly find. Taylor went 10-of-22 for 126 yards and two interceptions, and was also sacked three times.
After the game, Fields told reporters he was surprised about the decision.

While there hasn't been a decision made on who will get the start on Sunday, it was announced that Taylor is day-to-day with a knee injury.
Fields isn't having a huge season for the Jets, as he has thrown for only 845 yards and four touchdowns. He has also made some plays with his legs, as he has rushed for another 257 yards and three more scores.
One thing Fields has done well is limit the turnovers, as he has only fumbled one time while not throwing an interception. Taylor has more turnovers in the second half than Fields has all year.

Despite being the only winless team in the NFL, Glenn has the full support of owner Woody Johnson. Johnson also made some comments about Fields, implying that he is a big reason why the team is struggling so much.
There is not a lot to be excited about right now for the Jets, and the team is desperately looking for anything to be excited about.
Glenn spoke to reporters earlier in the week about who would be starting, and he said he wouldn't announce it yet as he didn't want the Cincinnati Bengals to have a competitive advantage. While he may not be saying who the starting quarterback will be on Sunday, it will be hard for Taylor to be the guy if he is unable to practice the next couple of days.
