The New York Jets have some decisions to make about their roster as they sit in third place in the AFC East with a 2-6 record and the NFL's trade deadline quickly approaching.

However, they have reportedly already made a decision about whether or not to trade one of their stars.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jets have told interested teams that they do not intend to trade running back Breece Hall.

Hall's future with the Jets has been up in the air as of late. He has missed the team's last five games since suffering a quadriceps injury in Week 3 and backup running back Braelon Allen has filled in quite nicely with 565 yards and three touchdowns on the season.

However, it's difficult to argue against Hall's talent, too. He's coming off a 1,000-yard rushing season in 2025 and then opened up this year with 102 rushing yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans.

The Jets unwillingness to trade away Hall makes sense, though. The team just signed him to a three-year, $45.75 million contract extension this offseason, making him the third-highest-paid running back in the league.

So, it seems like the Jets will move forward with their dynamic duo at running back in Hall and Allen, instead of just having one bell cow.

A second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, Hall has rushed for 3,561 yards and 19 touchdowns in his professional career.
