Last weekend’s divisional-round matchup against the Seattle Seahawks is a game the San Francisco 49ers want to forget as quickly as possible.
Seattle dominated from the opening kickoff, which was returned 95 yard by wide receiver Rashid Shaheed for a touchdown en route to an impressive 41-6 victory.
The 49ers mustered just 236 yards of total offense and turned the ball over three times as both quarterback Brock Purdy (140 yards passing, one interception) and running back Christian McCaffrey (35 yards rushing, 39 yards receiving) both struggled to mount any sort of offense.

The loss is one San Francisco will have to wait quite a while to avenge, and for two players, it’s one that cost them beyond just losing a win-or-go-home playoff game.
Linebacker Dee Winters and cornerback Deommodore Lenoir were both hit with fines by the NFL on Saturday when it released its list of weekly fines.
Winters will have to fork over $5,907 for a hip-drop tackle at 4:01 mark of the third quarter. Conversely, Lenoir was hit with a $20,944 fine for use of a helmet at the 10:05 mark of the third quarter after head butting Seahawks wide receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba.
