Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs scored his first rushing touchdown of the season during his team's "Thursday Night Football" win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 8.
It was Jacobs' second game of the campaign, after missing the first six contests of the year while on the Commissioner Exempt List.
The 28-year-old was arrested in May following a domestic disturbance, was originally placed on the Commissioner Exempt List on Aug. 30 and removed from the list on Oct. 19.

After finding the end zone in the second quarter versus the Panthers, Jacobs celebrated by placing his hands behind his back, appearing to mimic himself in handcuffs.

...
That wasn't the intention of his post-touchdown celebration, according to the three-time Pro Bowler.
Instead, Jacobs said it was a pre-coordinated effort with Packers wide receiver Savion Williams.
"(The cameras) didn’t even get the whole celebration," Jacobs said, according to Pro Football Talk's Michael David Smith. "[Expletive], it was [expletive] one second that they just showed me. But anyways, me and Savion came up with the celebration, if they would have seen the whole celebration. Basically, last week, we said the first celebration, when I score, I was gonna thank God, that’s what I did last week. Second was going to be 'Break Every Chain.' It’s a gospel song. That was gonna be the next celebration. It’s a correlation. The media is gonna run with it. They’re gonna make it something that it wasn’t. But it is what it is."
The embattled 2019 first-round pick finished the victory against Carolina with just 39 rushing yards on 21 carries, though he added six receptions for 13 yards and one score through the air as well.
Jacobs has registered only 75 yards via 32 rushing attempts through two games this season, while adding 11 catches for 68 yards and two receiving touchdowns.
