The Green Bay Packers should be among the NFL's buyers leading up to this year's trade deadline.

While the Packers have a solid 4-3 record, they are still at the bottom of the NFC North. Due to this, the Packers should be aggressively looking to strengthen their roster. Now, they are being connected to a top NFL trade candidate because of it.

Bleacher Report's Kristopher Knox named the Packers among the top potential landing spots for Philadelphia Eagles star guard Landon Dickerson ahead of the trade deadline.

Landon Dickerson

...

With Dickerson being a star guard, it would make a lot of sense if the Packers targeted him leading up the deadline. He would be a major pickup for a Packers team that is looking to climb up the standings in the very competitive NFC North right now.

However, with Dickerson currently sidelined due to injury, he would need to get healthy for a team like the Packers to target him. If he ends up returning soon, it would make all the sense in the world for the Packers to make a serious push for him.

Dickerson has spent his entire six-year NFL career with the Eagles. However, with Philadelphia struggling, it would not be too shocking if they trade the three-time Pro Bowler by the deadline. If the Eagles officially shop him, the Packers could be a team to watch in the sweepstakes.
