Just one year after Micah Parsons got moved, another superstar pass rusher could also be up for grabs. Maxx Crosby is the biggest name floated in the trade market right now, and the phone must be ringing off the hook in Sin City.
The Las Vegas Raiders will have the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but they might lose their best player. Crosby has reportedly grown frustrated with the organization's direction, and his trade value may never be higher than it is right now.
Nevertheless, that doesn't mean a trade is imminent. While ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler reports that at least a dozen teams have inquired about his availability, the Raiders still don't want to trade him. More than that, they might not do it because he hasn't formally requested a trade.

Maxx Crosby Still Hasn't Requested a Trade

...
"It's somewhat quiet on the Maxx Crosby front," Fowler revealed. "This is a layered discussion because a team source said a few weeks ago that Crosby's chances of returning were relatively small. But he doesn't plan to request a trade. He's tight with Raiders owner Mark Davis, and he probably wouldn't garner a Micah Parsons-like trade package (two firsts and a key player)."
Crosby has 69.5 career sacks and had 10.5 sacks last season. He's a game-wrecking pass rusher who'd make any defense instantly better.
That said, he's two years older than Micah Parsons. Parsons was also eligible for a contract extension, which is why the Raiders may have a tough time finding a comparable high-end trade package for Crosby's services.
The Raiders might be tempted to try to work things out with their defensive superstar. They can play the waiting game, since he hasn't requested a trade, even if he's clearly disgruntled with all the losing. He has to make a decision and request a trade, and even then, they may not comply.
Klint Kbuiak's team will still be wise to listen to offers and see how much a desperate team is willing to give up in a bidding war. But if Crosby hasn't uttered the words "I want to be traded" and they won't get the type of king's ransom they want in return, they can simply hold onto him and hope to tame his character with rookie QB Fernando Mendoza.
