Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua is known for his love of basketball, but his latest jump shot might be the longest (and possibly most important) of his life.
After falling just short of Super Bowl LX in the NFC Championship against the Seattle Seahawks, Nacua is set for a monumental offseason where he's expected to sign an extension with the Rams that could make him the highest-paid wideout in all of football.
But before that happens, 24-year-old Nacua went to social media to see if he could invoke some of the magic Kansas City Chiefs' legend Travis Kelce had when he used his platform to land a date with pop music icon Taylor Swift.

Famous actress Sydney Sweeney recently gave an interview to Complex about what she is looking for in a partner, saying, "Athletic and outgoing and funny. I’m a sporty girl, so someone needs to be able to climb a mountain with me, go skydiving with me."

Nacua, who is regarded as one of the most outgoing and personable players in the NFL, was quick to respond to Complex's social media post about the interview with a simple two-word response.
"Love skydiving," he posted on his official X account.
What might have begun as a simple joke from the Rams star has turned into an avalanche of support and vouching for the wide receiver, as his message has over 13 million views in less than 24 hours.
Teammates, NFL pundits, and even rivals on the field, like Green Bay Packers' superstar defensive end Micah Parsons, have put their support out there for Sweeney to give the L.A. receiver a chance.
While it's easy to disregard and laugh at, the same was seen when Kelce first broached the subject of being invited to a show to watch Swift perform. Now, three years later, they are set to be married this summer.
Following a season where social media has gotten Nacua into hot water, this might be the time when it helps him achieve his most significant win of the offseason.
And that includes the new, possibly record-breaking contract.
