The Baltimore Ravens have received an encouraging update on Lamar Jackson ahead of Sunday's divisional showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The quarterback returned to the practice field as he works toward a potential comeback from an ankle injury. The Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec reported on X that "Lamar Jackson is again on practice field for Ravens".
Baltimore's official social media account also shared a video of the quarterback at practice, offering another positive sign for the team.

ESPN's Jamison Hensley provided further details:
"Lamar Jackson has just come out onto the field for Friday's practice, which continues to be an encouraging sign. Jackson has been limited for the past two practices. He's dealing with a left ankle injury that has caused him to miss the past two games. Ravens play host to the Bengals on Sunday."
Jackson has missed Baltimore's last two games after injuring his left ankle on October 4 against the Tennessee Titans. The Ravens went 1-1 in his absence, beating the Atlanta Falcons before suffering a 13-10 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley has filled in during Jackson's absence. But the offense struggled to find consistency against Cleveland, making the star quarterback's potential return especially important.
Before the injury, Jackson had helped Baltimore make a strong start to the season. His availability could have a major impact on Sunday's AFC North matchup, with the Ravens looking to strengthen their position in the division.
Jackson's return to practice is encouraging, but it does not guarantee he will play against Cincinnati. His participation level and how his ankle responds will remain key factors in the team's decision.
Baltimore will need to assess his condition before making a final call.
