The Baltimore Ravens suffered their fourth-straight loss on Thursday Night Football to the Jacksonville Jaguars, and things don't look like they're going to improve anytime soon either with quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley both on injured reserve.
Ravens head coach Jesse Minter isn't letting that be an excuse as he looks to dig his team out of the hole it has dug itself into, though.
“Obviously, [it’s] a tough situation for our guys, but I just told them there’s no excuses, there’s no whatever, ‘We don’t have this guy; we don’t have that guy,’” Minter said via Jamison Hensley of ESPN. “The results are not acceptable for us and what we’re after.”

The Ravens aren't just sitting on their hands when it comes to the quarterback position. They made their trade for veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett official on Friday, sending a 2027 fourth-round pick and 2028 seventh-round pick to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for Brissett and a 2027 fifth-round pick.

...
However, while Brissett will likely provide better play than undrafted rookie quarterback Joe Fagnano did on Thursday night, his ceiling seems to be pretty capped at this point of his career, too.
Through eight games this season, Brissett has thrown for just 1,719 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
Minter isn't ready to throw away the season quite yet, though.
“I believe in our guys,” Minter said. “There’s spurts of good enough football. There is a real inconsistency, I would say, at all three levels, all three phases. And again, some of that is due to whatever, but that is what it is. Nobody cares about that stuff.”
Only time will tell if the Ravens will be able to turn things around, but they are certainly losing ground as they now sit in last place in the AFC North at 4-5.
