The New Orleans Saints have been itching to get injured first-round rookie wide receiver Jordyn Tyson on the field as he has been sidelined since August with a Grade 2 right hamstring strain. The team revealed it is planning to make a decision on him very soon, though.
According to Nick Underhill of neworleans.football, Saints head coach Kellen Moore said a decision on whether they will activate him from injured reserve will come on Wednesday of this week.

That aligns with a recent report from NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN, who stated that Tyson's return is imminent and could come as early as this week against the Cleveland Browns.
If that is true, Tyson could provide a much-needed boost for the Saints, who currently sit in last place in the NFC South with a 2-5 record.

Luckily, the division is still well within reach as the Carolina Panthers are in first place with 3-4 records, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Atlanta Falcons are at second and third position, respectively, with 3-5 records..
The Saints selected Tyson with the No. 8 overall pick in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft out of Arizona State, where he recorded 136 catches for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns from 2024-25.
Tyson also played college football at Colorado in 2022, when he had 22 catches for 470 yards and four touchdowns.
