The Tennessee Titans haven’t given their fans many reasons to show up to games over the last few years.
That was pretty evident during Sunday’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Titans were reeling from their 23-10 loss to the New York Jets at home in Week 1, and the Nissan Stadium crowd reflected that in Week 2 as the Titans were savagely roasted on social media for the amount of Eagles fans they allowed to flood the stands.

“Text from a media friend who’s at today’s Eagles-Titans game in Tennessee: ‘This place is 90% green,’” Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team posted on X.
Jokes were made about the Eagles getting an extra home game added to their schedule, and Titans reporters pointed out just how apathetic the team’s fans have become with Tennessee struggling to win games since breaking up the Ryan Tannehill-Derrick Henry-A.J. Brown trio.
“Listen man, there have been times that the opposing fan attendance has gotten exaggerated in the name of dramatically dumping on the Titans. Today is not that day. I’ve never seen so many opposing fans in my life,” A to Z Sports’ Easton Freeze wrote.
“Unsurprisingly, WAY more green than blue,” 104.5 The Zone’s Buck Reising posted.
“About 10 minutes before kickoff. I wish I had this much green in my checking account,” Main Street Nashville’s Terry McCormick stated.
“The game is at Nissan Stadium - but it feels like a road game. Lots of green in the crowd today,” WKRN’s Julian Mininsohn said.

Titans fans also vented their frustrations with the state of Nissan Stadium.
“Today was the worst I’ve ever seen it. We have to give our team an advantage at Nissan stadium,” one fan scoffed.
“That stands at Nissan Stadium could not be more green,” another fan noted.
“Every game is a home game for the away team at Nissan Stadium. Titans fan base has dwindled to nothing,” a third fan posted.
The Titans are just 12-41 since 2023, including a dreadful 6-28 record over the previous two seasons.
Controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk has tried to hit the reset button several times over the years, firing general managers Jon Robinson and Ran Carthon, head coaches Mike Vrabel and Brian Callahan, and hiring GM Mike Borgonzi and head coach Robert Saleh.
But she hasn’t found the right combination of head coach, GM, and quarterback.
