The NFL season is entering Week 11, and after a weekend full of blowouts to close out Week 10, a handful of teams are beginning to separate themselves from the pack — at least for now.
On Tuesday, NFL legend Tom Brady released his weekly power rankings, and he didn’t waver when declaring the best team in the NFL: the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles edged out a gritty 10-7 win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday night to improve to 7-2, though their passing attack remains a concern. Brady placed the Los Angeles Rams (7-2) at No. 2, the New England Patriots (8-2) at No. 3, the Seattle Seahawks (7-2) at No. 4, the Denver Broncos (8-2) at No. 5, and — surprisingly — the only other 8-2 team, the Indianapolis Colts, all the way down at No. 10.

“And I told you last week, it’s going to take something extreme to knock the Eagles out of the top spot,” Brady said. “Scoring 10 points on Monday night — almost good to trick — but the defense made up for it with huge contributions from new arrival Jaelan Phillips.”

Brady’s rankings have sparked outrage among NFL fans, many of whom strongly disagree with the list and the Eagles being ranked No. 1 at this point in the season.
"Eagles out of synch, Rams and Seattle are better," a fan said.
Someone else added: "Eagles number 1? Broncos top 5? This is not a serious power ranking."
Another person wrote: "Colts steamrolled the chargers, beat the broncos, had a close game with the rams. Chiefs 5-4 cannot be ahead of them. Hater."
“Sorry, this list is [explicit] though. Bucs are not playing great, Broncos’ offense is a mess, and the Lions and Colts should be near the top, not the bottom,” another fan commented.

Several games this week could completely shake up Brady’s rankings heading into next week.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers travel to Buffalo to face the Bills, the Seahawks and Rams clash in a massive divisional showdown in Los Angeles, the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos at Mile High, and on Sunday night, the Eagles will host the Detroit Lions in primetime.
