Pop star Taylor Swift broke Instagram on Tuesday when she announced her and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce were engaged.
The post currently has 33 million likes, 2.6 million comments, and it's been shared nearly 10 million times — and it's news Swift's fans have seemingly been waiting for ever since it was speculated Kelce might pop the question after Super Bowl LIX back in February.
It's the second major announcement Kelce has made this season — he also revealed at the end of February to ESPN's Pat McAfee that he was pushing off retirement to come back for his 13th NFL season — and one sports talk radio host believes Kelce's pending wedding actually signals the final nail in the Chiefs dynasty.

"How does this impact the actual football product of the Kansas City Chiefs? It keeps coming back to one thing, and its fairly obvious — this has to be the last dance for the triumvirate of Andy Reid, Patrick Mahomes, and Travis Kelce," Fox Sports' Jason McIntyre recently stated.
"What are we doing with Travis Kelce? He has talked about retirement, he's among the league leaders in commercials – he's a full-blown celebrity now. He's engaged to the most famous woman on the planet, and now they're going to be planning a wedding."

Kelce has accomplished seemingly everything a tight end ever could hope for.
He's made 10 Pro Bowls, been named to the All-Pro team seven times, won three Super Bowl championships, and he has several NFL records to his name including the single-season record for receiving yards (1,416) among TEs, the most consecutive 1,000-plus-yard seasons among TEs, plus the most receptions (172) in playoff history and most receptions in Super Bowl history (35).

But the 2024 season was one Kelce would like to forget — his 823 receiving yards and three touchdowns were the lowest of his career.
And with so many analysts pondering if he's lost more than a step later in his career, it likely wouldn't surprise anyone if 2025 was Kelce's last season, which McIntyre believes could have profound ramifications for both Mahomes and Reid.
"At some level, Patrick Mahomes has to know this is it," McIntyre said. "Travis Kelce turns 36 in October, he's going into the final year of his contract, he's openly talked about retirement — I mean he's laying the groundwork for a post-football career. ... That's post-football, we still have a season to go, and I don't think they're a Super Bowl team.
"...When you kind of drill down and start thinking, 'Man, maybe this is coming to an end.' ... If Kelce and Reid walked away after this, it would not shock me. I think the dynasty is over. They had their shot in the Super Bowl and they got smashed."
