Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones left Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts with a knee injury.
The veteran ball carrier exited the game in the fourth quarter as the Vikings posted 10 unanswered points to secure a 16-10 win over the visiting Colts. He was listed as questionable to return, but did not.
Fortunately for the Vikings, this injury for Jones doesn't appear to be serious. On Monday, ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter reported a positive update on the Vikings RB.

"Vikings RB Aaron Jones’ knee injury that he suffered during Sunday’s win over the Colts is not considered to be significant at this time, and a source described him as 'day to day,'" Schefter reported.
This injury for Jones occurred in the same game that fellow running back Jordan Mason returned from injured reserve. Mason missed each of the Vikings' last four games after suffering a thumb injury in Week 1, forcing Jones to step up as the team's bell-cow lead back.
Mason led the Vikings in rushing on Sunday, taking 15 carries for 68 yards. Jones recording 26 yards on eight carries before exiting the game.

The Vikings are the NFL's last remaining undefeated team, boasting a 6-0 recording heading into this coming Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
