With their 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, the Vikings now have a perfect 6-0 record. With this, there is no question that they will be buyers ahead of the NFL Trade Deadline.
Due to this, they are now being linked to a notable running back trade candidate.

In a recent article for Bleacher Report, Zach Buckley predicted that the Vikings will trade for Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor ahead of the deadline.

The Vikings need a boost at running back, so it is understandable that they are being connected to Taylor. It would make sense for them to target him, as he would significantly boost their roster if acquired.
With how well the Vikings are playing this season, they are in a prime position to make a splash for a star like Taylor. He would make the Vikings an even better team, so they should be watched in the sweepstakes leading up to the deadline.
In seven games this season for the Colts, Taylor has posted eight touchdowns, 140 rushes, and 587 rushing yards. This comes after he posted 18 touchdowns and 1,545 rushing yards last season for Indianapolis.
