Green Bay Packers linebacker Isaiah McDuffie has all the confidence in the world in his team this year.

"I think we've got everything we need," McDuffie told NFL Network’s The Insiders on July 17. "At the end of the day, it's just finishing. Getting late in the season, just finishing those games when we are up on guys, just putting the nail in the coffin."

Green Bay went 9-7-1 last season and got bounced in the Wild Card round, and the Packers have been a playoff team the past three seasons. With quarterback Jordan Love under center and linebacker Micah Parsons eventually returning from injury, expectations are high in Green Bay.

The Packers have lots of talent on both sides of the ball, and that showed early on last year before the Parsons injury. Green Bay’s defense ultimately flatlined without Parsons, and Green Bay’s Super Bowl aspirations fell apart.

While Parsons will miss time in the first half of this season, McDuffie believes the Packers will make do without him this time. After all, it’s the Packers’ only chance in a stacked NFC North, where every team finished with a winning record last year.

"It's all hands on deck," McDuffie said. "We need guys to come in. There's a job to be done at the end of the day.”

“There's an expectation to produce and cause havoc and get after the quarterback,” McDuffie added. “We have a lot of great guys in that room, and I see there's going to be no drop-off there."

Green Bay will need to get after numerous top quarterbacks on the schedule, especially in the NFC North. Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams are expected to be as tough as ever, and the Minnesota Vikings might find an answer between J.J. McCarthy and Kyler Murray.

For McDuffie, if the Packers can reach the pinnacle this season, it would fulfill a career dream.

"I love Green Bay. They've been very good to me," McDuffie said. "It's a very special place, and at the end of the day, I see myself wanting to stay there and hopefully win a Super Bowl with this team."
