Everyone has a romantic past, but not everyone’s history has been as spotlighted as that of the "Second City Saint." In the past, CM Punk has dated a litany of female wrestling stars before finally settling down and marrying former Divas Champion AJ Lee in 2014.
The couple recently showcased their dynamic chemistry during an appearance on Hot Ones Versus. While the show is known for its spicy wings and intense questions, it was Lee’s sharp wit that stole the spotlight regarding her husband's dating resume.
The Six Grandfathers
During the segment, CM Punk asked Lee to select her "Six Grandfathers" of wrestling. This concept is a play on the original name of Mount Rushmore before the presidential faces were carved into the rock.

Lee took the task seriously, selecting a lineup that spanned multiple eras of women's wrestling. Her list included trailblazers Chyna, Lita, Beth Phoenix, Mickie James, herself, and current superstar Bayley.
It was a formidable list of talent, acknowledging those who paved the way for the current generation. However, Lee quickly realized that many of these iconic women shared a common personal connection with the man sitting across from her.

The Roast
AJ Lee poked fun at Punk by noting that a significant portion of her picks had been romantically involved with him in the past. She did not shy away from the awkwardness, instead leaning into it with her trademark humor.

“I feel like I have to go through generations. Chyna, Lita, Beth Phoenix — you’ve dated a lot of these women, sorry,” Lee joked. “Is that awkward?”
She continued to tease him, complimenting his choices in partners while validating the talent of the women she selected. “You have very good taste. Obviously. They’re just so good,” she added.
Punk is well-known to have had high-profile relationships with both Lita and Beth Phoenix during his earlier years in the industry. He has also dated former WWE stars Maria Kanellis and Kelly Kelly, though they did not make it onto Lee’s prestigious list.
The Final Pick
Lee rounded out her list by including herself, playfully asserting her place among the greats. “I’m next, obviously,” she quipped, cementing her status as both his wife and a legend in her own right.
She also made sure to include a representative from the current locker room to bridge the gap between eras. “And I want to pick a woman from this generation, Bayley,” Lee stated,
