This time last year, Seth Rollins was set to have the biggest year in the WWE to date.
After winning at WrestleMania 41 in the night one main event against Roman Reigns and CM Punk, he was in line to be the main character of the company throughout 2025 and into 2026's Mania season.
But after suffering a torn rotator cuff in October of last year against Cody Rhodes at "WWE Crown Jewel: Perth," the charismatic Rollins has been seen more on NFL broadcasts as a pundit than a character on television.

While early reports following the injury had Rollins missing "WrestleMania" entirely, recent updates over the past two months had him slated to wrestle Bron Breakker at the biggest show of the year at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Rollins hasn't had any reported setbacks, but his opponent is a different story, as Breakker suffered a freak injury a few weeks ago that had the young superstar written off WWE television.
During this time, a masked man storyline has played out on "Monday Night Raw" and "Friday Night SmackDown," with the alleged assaliant supposed to be revealed as Rollins to set up the marquee match with Breakker.
But following injuries to Breakker and teammate Bronson Reed this past week, the mask man was revealed to seemingly be a random nobody in the most recent episode of "SmackDown."

That nobody, though, could be a key to what might happen later tonight at the "Elimination Chamber" event in Chicago. Per Fightful, the masked man revealed on Friday was actually a pro wrestler named Don Furo, who was trained by none other than Rollins himself.
With Logan Paul now in the main event of Saturday's show in the "Elimination Chamber" match to decide who will face Drew McIntyre at "WrestleMania," the popular YouTuber has taken over the role previously written for Breakker and then Reed before their injuries.
Although Rollins has not been seen in Chicago for Saturday's final Premium Live Event before 'Mania, the stage is set for a possible final reveal of the masked man tonight following the red herring on Friday night.
Rollins is the heavy favorite to be unmasked as the shadowy assassin, as the rationale behind the entire mystery was to have other wrestlers act in Rollins' place until he was fully ready to return to ring action for "WrestleMania."
We will keep you updated tonight as the masked man, mysterious crate, and other whodunnit storylines all seem to be coming to a head in Chicago.
