Star Wars Battlefront 2 update 1.11 has landed on PS4 just hours after the conclusion of a nearly 20-hour stretch of server downtime. With the game's database now fully rebuilt, DICE has added 800MB of fixes to polish last week's major overhaul.
Here's the short list of fixes courtesy of the official patch notes:
- Fixed a crash issue on Xbox One
- Fixed a lighting issue in a cave on Endor affecting Ewok Hunt
- Fixed an issue with Troopers being able to climb trees in Ewok Hunt
- Fixed an issue where the Specialist's Infiltration Ability was not highlighting enemies on the mini-map

The update arrives alongside the return of the popular Evok Hunt limited-time mode. The mode is now live since update 1.11 has fully deployed across all platforms and will be active through late Sunday or early Monday morning EDT, April 30. Since the patch introduces a few balance changes to reduce the favoring of troopers in the mode, it makes sense to give Ewok Hunt one more try before it's put in the vault.
This small assortment of bug fixes is far less concerning than Wednesday's extensive server downtime, however. After roughly 30 percent of players started receiving error messages that prevented them from playing Battlefront 2, the game's developers at DICE were forced to take it offline for most of the following day. While it was originally assumed a server-side fix could be deployed in about eight hours, the team pushed far past that estimate to essentially rebuild the game's entire network database overnight.

As compensation for the downtime, players will receive an "I'm sorry" Loot Crate going live as of 9 a.m. EDT. It contains 80 Crafting Parts, 500 Credits and the "wasn't me" emote. So, if you were thinking about buying an Appearance or want to level up your favorite class, you'll now have more options to do so.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The 1.11 update should be going live across all platforms with varied build numbers.
