Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the latest addition to Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, opens Friday. Guests will explore Black Spire Outpost on the Unknown Regions planet of Batuu and pilot the Millennium Falcon in the interactive "Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run." A similar interactive ride, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, will open later this year.
How to Get Tickets and Reservations to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland
No separate tickets are required for access to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, but reservations are necessary between the May 31 opening and June 23. To secure a reservation, you'll need to be a guest staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels. Guests will get a designated reservation date for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge during their stay.
There are a few caveats. To obtain a Galaxy's Edge reservation, you'll need valid theme park admission—people booked for just a hotel stay are ineligible for reservations. Also ineligible are Disneyland Resort vacation packages. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge isn't part of any expanded hours programs for Disney resort-goers, like "Extra Magic Hour" or "Magic Morning." Finally, Disney also warns that access to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is "subject to capacity."
To check-in for your visit to Galaxy's Edge, head to the first floor of the Star Wars Launch Bay, located in the Tomorrowland area of Disneyland Park. You can check in up to two hours prior to the beginning of your reservation, but Disney recommends against arriving too early. To check in, you'll need your entire reservation party present, plus the reservation confirmation QR code and government-issued photo IDs.You'll then be issued wristbands and guided to a Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge entrance by a Cast Member.
Reservation holders will be notified by email, which will include a four-hour window on a designated reservation date. Fastpass isn't applicable to any of the Galaxy's Edge attractions. There's not any reservations at the cantina or chance of gaining access to the area by waiting in line. Getting into Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is no easy feat, at least through June 23.

If you're unable to secure reservations for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, then you'll need to purchase tickets for June 24 or after, when reservations will no longer be required. There are two basic ticket options applicable to a visit to Star Wars Galaxy's Edge: single-park admission and the more costly Park Hopper ticket, which lets you visit multiple parks in the same day.
