Supreme Oreos Collaboration: Details, Price and How to Buy
The highly-anticipated Supreme Oreo cookies will be released online today, March 26, on Supreme's online stores. The exclusive brand promoted the long-awaited launch in a collaboration with Instagram celebrity Bread Face Blog (@breadfaceblog).
The Instagram user is known for crushing bread with her face and has more than 195,000 followers. She revealed a close-up of the Supreme Oreos on her page in three images, which show her holding the Supreme Oreo in her mouth, then munching on it, with the final image showing the red crumbs stuck in her teeth.
Supreme shared the same images on their account to announce that the Oreos are releasing today.
According to Supreme's Instagram, the Supreme Oreo double-stuffed cookies will cost $3 per pack of three.
However, Supreme Oreos were quickly listed on eBay, with some packets selling for thousands of dollars. Forbes reported that one packet listed on eBay received bids of up to $96,100.
Supreme confirmed that as it has closed its retail stores due to the coronavirus outbreak, it would waive shipping fees on orders of more than $150.
A statement on the Supreme website says, "Due to the spread of COVID-19, we have taken measures to ensure the health and safety of our customers and staff. These include temporarily closing our stores in the U.S., U.K., and France, and enacting company-wide policies to safeguard our employees, products and supply chain.
"The online store will remain open. Next week's release will be online only."
While Oreos might seem an unlikely collaboration with a clothing brand, aside from streetwear, Supreme is known for branding everyday objects. The Supreme Spring/Summer collection features other normal, household items, such as Zippo lighters and Ziploc bags, as well as more expensive products including a BMX bike, and a nameplate 14k gold pendant.
The Supreme Spring/Summer collection launched on February 20 and the brand has been releasing products in batches. The new products typically appear on the Supreme website at 11 a.m. GMT on Thursdays, so the Oreo cookies can be expected to drop at 7 a.m. ET today.
Also dropping online today is Supreme's collection with Timberland. In an Instagram post, Supreme wrote, "Supreme has worked with Timberland to produce a Euro Hiker Low, Crewneck and 6-Panel. The Euro Hiker Low features a patent leather upper with nylon canvas collar and recycled rubber outsoles. The Crewneck and 6-Panel feature embroidered logos."
The Supreme and Timberland collaboration will be exclusively available online on March 26, before being sold in-store and online in Japan on March 28.
