Ford Mustang 2019 Bullitt in Pictures: Check Out Latest Limited Edition

Ford dealerships across America are taking orders for the limited-edition 480-horsepower 2019 Mustang Bullitt, a tribute to the iconic 1968 Mustang GT fastback Steve McQueen drove in the action thriller Bullitt 50 years ago.

The new Bullitt Mustang comes in two colors: black and a dark green, like the one in the movie. The similarities don't end there; the new car also has a circular Bullitt logo at the rear center, and a classic cue ball shifter. The leather-trimmed interior features accent stitching in green on the dashboard, door panels, center console and seats.

The new Mustang Bullitt delivers plenty of blockbusting power, thanks to its performance open air intake, Mustang Shelby GT350 intake manifold and a larger 87-millimeter throttle body and powertrain control module calibrations delivering 480 horsepower and 420 lb.-ft. of torque with 93-octane fuel. The top speed of the 2019 Mustang Bullitt is 163 mph, 8 mph faster than the latest Mustang GT.

Corey Holter, Ford car group marketing manager, said: "The new Bullitt will be every bit as cool and charismatic as the original '68 Mustang. Since its introduction earlier this year, Ford dealers have been fielding calls from customers wanting to know when they can order this unique piece of automotive history."

Ford has now confirmed the 2019 Bullitt Mustang will go on sale this summer for $46,595 plus a $900 destination and delivery charge. Ford hasn't confirmed how many it is making, but given its limited-edition status, the new Mustang is expected to fly out of dealerships like a Bullitt.
