Pete Davidson Should Wear Something 'Quirky' to Ariana Grande Wedding, 'Queer Eye' Star Says

Pete Davidson won’t have to worry about looking like anyone but himself on his wedding day, because his “good friend” Tan France has every intention on dressing the comedian in something that truly exudes his personal style when he waits for fiancée Ariana Grande to walk down the aisle.

When Davidson initially asked for France’s help preparing a wedding day look, the Queer Eye guru told US Weekly he was “surprised,” but up for the job. Unlike the look France helped Davidson achieve in a Queer Eye and Saturday Night Live promo clip in March, France said he plans to dress Davidson in something well-fitting and comfortable.

“The only thing I can say is I want it to feel like him,” France said during an Us Weekly interview released Wednesday. “What I did with him for the SNL digital was to get him out of his regular style and that was obviously for a comedy bit. But for his wedding, I would want him to feel like he’s representing who he is and what his style’s all about because he’s quirky AF.”

France added: “So if he wants to continue doing that, I fully support it. I love that he loves to experiment with clothing. I want everyone to experiment with clothing! I love his style.”

France won’t have to worry about getting Davidson together for his wedding day anytime soon though. Davidson and Grande are reportedly planning to spend a long engagement together, despite only dating for a short period of time before Davidson popped the question. News of the couple’s romance first surfaced in May, and Davidson confirmed their engagement while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 20.

Although the newly engaged couple has caught a bit of flak from fans who feel like they’re moving too quickly in their relationship, France was excited about their union. “What I will say is that I’m super happy for them. They are two of the nicest people I’ve come across in a long time, so I couldn’t be happier for them,” he said.
