Taylor Swift Fan Defends Singer in Hilarious Discussion With Dentist Post Surgery

In a hilarious viral video one, a Taylor Swift fan expressed her disappointment toward her dentist for his confession that he is not a Swift fan himself.

What makes the video so funny is not just the conversation itself, but that it is occurring as the young patient is recovering from wisdom tooth surgery. The video, which has been viewed almost 3.8 million times on TikTok, was posted by the username @2co0l2juul, whose first name is Paloma.

In words overlaid onto the video, Paloma wrote: "me still defending taylor swift w/ my life after getting my wisdom teeth out:"

"Did you even play Taylor Swift during that?" she asked the dentist at the start of the video.

"Absolutely not," he said. She's shocked.

A funny video of Swift herself in a post-surgery stupor was shared to the world in 2019 while appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The video, which was shot by the singer's mom Andrea, shows Swift getting herself a banana sporting protective eye gear (she had just received Lasik eye surgery.) The video then cuts to the singer in bed eating the banana. Her mother tells her not to fall asleep eating the banana to which the singer responded "I'm not asleep, my mind is alive."

In the TikTok video posted by Paloma, she then asked a very important question after discovering he's not a Swift fan.

"You like Jake Gyllenhaal?" she asked.

"No."

"Okay, good."

In recent weeks the reported past relationship between Swift and Gyllenhaal has been revisited as Swift released a 10-minute version of her song All Too Well, a song understood to be about the actor.

"I can't believe I allowed you to perform on me," Paloma said to her dentist after again saying he didn't "really" like the singer.

The dentist then attempted to replace the gauze in her mouth. She pauses and looks at his hand.

"You don't like Taylor Swift, don't touch me," she said.

The dentist said he does not like country music which is why he doesn't like her.

"She is not country, listen," Paloma said as she begins to play All Too Well from her phone.

She lets the dentist change the gauze on his second attempt but not before throwing in another "Ugh, but you don't even like Taylor Swift."

In another video, Paloma shared a screenshot of what appears to be her Spotify Wrapped breakdown which said that she is in the top 0.5 percent of Taylor Swift's listeners on the platform this year.
