'Teen Mom OG' Tyler Baltierra Say's He 'Will Most Likely Get a Ton of Backlash' During Season 7

The new season of Teen Mom OG got off to a rocky start for Catelynn and Tyler Baltierra. The couple, who have experienced a number of relationship woes since they first appeared on the MTV franchise for 16 and Pregnant in 2009, are once again facing trouble in their marriage and Tyler knows he's going to catch a ton of heat from fans of the show because of it.

Tyler admitted to his therapist he hadn't been happy in marriage "for a couple of years" and told his parents he was losing empathy for his wife's mental health battle during the Season 7 premiere on Monday. Catelynn experienced severe postpartum depression and suicidal thoughts after giving birth to the couple's 3-year-old daughter, Novalee Baltierra, and once again fell into a dark hole after suffering a miscarriage earlier this year, which the couple revealed on Teen Mom OG's previous season in February.

Following the premiere episode, Tyler, knowing fans would be upset by his remarks about his wife, took to Twitter to acknowledge the incoming criticism. "I know I will most likely get a ton of backlash from viewers this season & that's okay, honestly," he wrote on Monday.

"It will NEVER hold me back from being 100% real & honest! Loving someone through severe depression/anxiety takes a toll & I'm only one human being that experiences weak moments too," he continued.

Despite his feelings, fans weren't all that outraged by Tyler's sentiment. In fact, many of them offered Tyler messages of support and admired his honesty.

Brighter times may be on the horizon for the couple later on in the season now that Catelynn and Tyler are gearing up for another baby. Catelynn revealed they were expecting their "rainbow baby" in September.

"This baby is our rainbow after the storm," Catelynn said in an interview with Us Weekly. "It was a huge shock at first. We were not planning it, especially after the miscarriage and how I went downhill with my mental illness."

While unconfirmed, there's a possibility fans will see the moment Catelynn and Tyler find out about their new addition sometime during the season.

Teen Mom OG airs on MTV on Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
