Tekashi 6ix9ine Update: First Photo of Rapper in Jail Released by Girlfriend Jade

The first photo of Tekashi 6ix9ine in prison was released by his girlfriend on Monday. The rapper has been living in a federal prison in Queens since his November arrest.

6ix9ine's girlfriend, who goes by the name Jade, shared a photo of her recent visit with the Dummy Boy rapper. In the photo, Jade plants a smooch on 6ix9ine's cheek while he clings on to her behind. The colorful-haired 22-year-old, whose birth name is Daniel Hernandez, is wearing a dark prison uniform in the photo.

"He's good luv, enjoy #Free Danny," Jade captioned the photo.

6ix9ine was arrested on a federal indictment just ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. The rapper is accused of committing racketeering conspiracy, firearms offenses and other crimes along with various other members allegedly associated with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods—a Brooklyn-based gang 6ix9ine formerly repped in his music and on social media.

In total, 6ix9ine and seven other men, including his former manager Kifano "Shotti" Jordan, were cited for 17 counts of racketeering in aid of operating a criminal enterprise and committing crimes like murder, armed robbery and drug trafficking to strengthen the gang's grip on New York City and surrounding boroughs.

6ix9ine is being held on six counts, which come with a minimum sentence of 32 years to a maximum life in prison.

The rapper was initially being held in Brooklyn with a number of the other men included in the indictment. However, he was transferred to a federal prison in Queens in the days following his arrest for safety concerns.

A judge denied a request for bail while 6ix9ine waits for his trail to begin, which won't be until September. His lawyer, Lance Lazzaro told TMZ of his plans to request another bail appeal set at $1.5 million before the rapper appears before the judge again in late January.

He’s good luv , enjoy _❤️ #FreeDanny_
