Will Teresa Giudice Divorce Joe? Delores Catania Says RHONJ Castmate Is 'Strong' Even Though 'Things Aren't Okay'

Teresa Giudice's husband Joe wrapped his 41-month prison sentence back in March, but the Real Housewives of New Jersey husband hasn't reunited with his family just yet. Joe was handed over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement following his prison release and will likely remain there until his deportation status is determined.

In the meantime, Teresa is holding down the fort, raising the couple's four daughters—Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 10—on her own, all the while figuring out the next steps for her marriage. Longtime friend and RHONJ castmate Delores Catania updated fans on Teresa's status and said the reality star was maintaining a strong face in light of her family's current obstacles.

"I know Teresa will never cry in front of her family or kids to show them that things aren't ok," Catania, who joined the RHONJ cast in Season 7, told Hollywood Life Monday. "I know her the most, and I can relate to a lot of the way she handles things. So, speaking for her as far as knowing her the way I do, she's strong. She's moving forward."

Although Teresa and Joe are still functioning as a married couple, she has previously mentioned her desires to separate from him if he is sent back to his home country of Italy. Catania noted Teresa has yet to make any sudden changes in her marriage as of yet.

"They're doing whatever's best for their children, and I wish the best outcome for them. It's yet to be seen. Whatever it is, I pray for them to have closure at this point," Catania said, adding," "When you're going through a divorce, at some point you just look up and say, 'I just want it to be done. What's gonna be my life?"

At the RHONJ Season 9 reunion, Teresa said she would not relocate to Italy should her husband be deported, and had no plans for a long-distance relationship either. "I want somebody with me every day," she said. "I know exactly what happens. You know, I'm sure he'll be with other women. It happens. We do the long distance thing, it's not going to work."

There was some speculation Teresa was already moving on from her marriage after she was spotted in Florida with another man in February. However, the 46-year-old's lawyer, James Leonard Jr., denied said the man was just a friend.

"Teresa was in Miami for a charity event with a large group of friends, both men and women," he told Us Weekly at the time. "The photos show one of those friends helping Teresa out of the venue and to her car. She had some wine and she was wearing heels."

He added: "That's the real story. There is no cheating, no divorce. End of story."
