Texas Student Hits Teacher in Viral Video, Tells Her Mom: 'She's Black and Pissing Me Off'
A viral video showed a white Texas student hitting a Black teacher in a classroom and then calling her mom to tell her "she's Black and f****** pissing me off."
The incident happened at Castleberry High School in Fort Worth, Texas, according to local community news platform Smash Da Topic, which posted the video on Twitter that gained over 91,000 views as of Sunday.
The video shows the teen walking over to the teacher who was standing at the front of the classroom apparently making a call from a phone on her desk. The student then tries to disconnect the call, but the teacher stops her. In response, the girl hits the teacher's arm.

"No, no, no," the teacher can be heard saying afterward. "You touched me. I did not touch you."
The teen then picks up the phone on the desk and yells "I am calling my momma, you ain't about to f*** me up b****!"
"I need you to get over here now because this teacher is about to get f***** up if she doesn't get the f*** away from me," the student tells her mother on the phone. "You want to talk to her because she's Black and she's f******* pissing me off right now?"
A moment later, the student throws the phone towards the teacher and walks out of the classroom.
No details were reported about the events that led up to the incident.
Newsweek contacted Castleberry High School but didn't receive a response in time for publication.
A number of racially-charged incidents have been reported over the past months in schools nationwide. In September, a South Carolina school launched an investigation after a video in which an instructor can be heard saying the N-word in class went viral.
The TikTok video showed a teacher at Cane Bay High School using a racial slur off-camera while discussing subjects "rooted in racism."
The clip was posted online by a TikTok user who claimed that she knows the teacher.
"That is a teacher, I've had over three years that I visited every single morning," the user said. "I don't understand how an educator, a professional, can say that word in a room where you know Black people are present or matter of fact, even just students in general."
"This was stupid. You are an educator. She took a pause before she said that so she clearly meant it," she added.
