TikTok star Timbo the Redneck has passed away after getting into an accident, his mother revealed in an emotional post shared on her son's accounts.
The rising social media star, real name Timothy Hall, died on Saturday, said his mother, Tassie, in a short clip posted on Timbo's TikTok and Instagram accounts.
After introducing herself to fans at the start of the video, which was uploaded on Sunday, Tassie said of her son: "He won't be making anymore videos, no more videos at all. My son was in a bad accident yesterday and didn't make it.
"I wanna thank everybody for all the fans that he had. He loved TikTok and just believed in all the fans and everybody that supported him. It meant a lot to him. Sometimes he wouldn't listen to me. he'd say, 'I gotta do this TikTok.'"
"My heart is just so broken," she said as she fought back tears, before sharing a GoFundme link to raise funds for his funeral. With $9,447 already raised, donations are no longer being accepted on the page.
Timbo's brother-in-law, Tony, who appeared in several videos with the TikTok star, uploaded a video on Timbo's new YouTube channel, during which he shared further details on the circumstances surrounding his death.
"He passed away this Saturday in a truck crash with his girlfriend, Kori, out in the front yard of his friend Jay's house," Tony explained. "He was doing donuts in the front yard in JD's house.
"He was doing donuts with his girlfriend, and the truck just flipped over and he flew out the driver's side window and the truck landed on top of him."
Looking visibly distraught, Tony went on: "I'm just making this video because we made so many videos together and he used to talk to me all the time about how much you guys and his fans meant to him.
"I just want everybody to know that Timbo, or Timothy—whatever you wanna call him—he truly appreciated and loved his fans and he loved his friends.
"He was a small town boy from Jennings, Florida. He started getting on TikTok and started posting all these videos and you guys were commenting and... going on FaceTime with him. He appreciated you guys so much more than you know."
Tony concluded his emotional post by stating that there would likely be one more pre-recorded video that would be uploaded to the channel before use of the account would cease.
In his last TikTok post, shared at the start of July, comedy sketch star Timbo—who had more than 195,000 followers on the platform—revealed that he had just started a YouTube channel and promised his fans "cool" videos in the future.
Timbo was also seen in videos regularly driving his pick-up truck, in which he enjoyed off-roading.
