Tillman, a dog who gained Internet fame in a video where he was seen skateboarding, died this week at the age of 10 as a result of heart problems, his owner Ron Davis told the Ventura County Star.

Tillman first made headlines when a video of him skateboarding went viral in 2007. The clip has since gained over 21 million views over the years.

Tillman's big break came when he appeared in a 2007 iPhone commercial, advertising an early model of the device and its ability to play YouTube video.

Tillman was also able to sled, standing on a board while making it down the mountain, and he was a solid surfer.

In 2009, Guinness World Records named Tillman the world's fastest skateboarding dog. He traveled over 100 meters in just under 20 seconds.

"We shared so many memories skating, surfing and hanging out together. No words can truly describe how much he'll be missed. Thanks for all the good times, Tilly," Davis wrote on Tillman's Facebook fan page.
