New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady continues to stay active during the NFL's offseason, as he joked Friday about former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning's golf game.

Manning is currently playing at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament in California. A video was posted on Twitter shows him just missing the hole on his third shot. The clip was accompanied by a caption that read: "Brady would have sunk this."

Brady responded to the tweet by noting that Manning's retirement has allowed the former NFL star to play more golf.

"Not true," Brady wrote. "Peyton is the better golfer right now. He's had much more practice these past few years."

Manning, who is 43-years old, is only one year older than Brady but retired in 2016, following the Denver Broncos' Super Bowl victory. Despite the small age difference, Brady has continued to play and has made it clear he wants to play for a few more years.

While Brady believes that Manning may be the better golfer due to having more time to play, Brady's response may be different if the conversation was focused on football. The two are considered two of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, although Brady has Manning beat in a few different categories.

Brady has six Super Bowl rings and four Super Bowl MVP awards, while Manning only has two Super Bowl rings and one Super Bowl MVP. Manning does have Brady beat in regular season MVP awards with five, while Brady has three. Additionally, Brady recently passed Manning in two separate NFL records: all-time passing yards and all-time touchdowns.

Brady's most recent joke at Manning's golf game is not the first time the two had engaged in some form of rivalry off the football field.

In 2015, released some of Brady's private emails based off an NFLPA lawsuit appeal for the Patriots star's four-day suspension amid the "deflategate" controversy, in which he was accused of removing air from game balls.

"I've got another 7 or 8 years. He [Manning] has 2. That's the final chapter," Brady wrote in an email.

Following the release of those emails, according to Troy Renck, a Bronco's team insider, Manning did not take the jab in a negative way.

"Manning said no harm, no foul on Brady email," Renck tweeted. "Said Brady sent apology text. 'It wasn't necessary. I have been roasted. That wasn't a roast.'"

More recently, the two stars traded jabs once again during Manning's ESPN+ show Peyton's Places, as the two were reminiscing about their rivalry.

"I miss the [Colts'] old dome, it was so loud, we didn't pump noise in either," Manning said.

"Yes, you did," Brady jokingly responded. "You're full of s***."

Great banter from Tom Brady and Peyton Manning on the latest episode of "Peyton's Places" on ESPN+ 😅
