"Your app will be removed from the App Store until we receive an update that is compliant with the App Store Review Guidelines," Apple told Parler on Saturday.
Apple reports that all issues have been resolved.
Parler, which is being pitched as a non biased and free speech-focused rival to mainstream social media platforms, has enjoyed a fresh wave of attention this week.
Cybersecurity experts were able to access up to 900 million user records linked to the software that were allegedly being stored in a database without adequate password protection.
"It's not clear if this removal is linked to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak that China is facing. However, Plague Inc.'s educational importance has been repeatedly recognised," the team said.
"We've updated our guidelines to reflect that apps encouraging or facilitating the use of these products are not permitted. As of today, these are no longer available to download," Apple said.
