During the announcement, DWTS host Tom Bergeron joked that Spicer would be in charge of assessing audience size.
Brown has been in the spotlight since her season of "The Bachelorette" premiered in May.
The world saw how Brown's relationship unraveled on the "Bachelorette" finale in July.
Harding and Farber beat out three "DWTS" contestants.
